Unlike many other SEO firms, we can deliver results, and can prove it:
Number 2 in Google for "London Bookkeeping" out of 872,000 sites
and here is the site. (the other test sites below look similar).
Number 2 for "London Divorce" out of 12 million sites
and number 1 for "london liposuction" out of 292,000 sites. Although fewer sites, liposuction is a very expensive and highly profitable business, so competing sites have invested good money into SEO and are not easy to beat.
We created a test website www. hertfordaccountant.co.uk .
We registered the domain on Friday the 16th October 2009, then we did nothing until Sunday morning Then we built a site, and applied various techniques to increase its ranking in Google.
8 hours later, on Sunday evening it was already in position 3 for the search term "Hertford Accountant", and the following morning is was at number 1 out of 56,000 sites.
Here is the screenshot that I took on Monday morning of the 19th October to show it had climbed from nowhere to number 1 in less than 24 hours. Maybe it still there, Google frequently changes its algorhythms, and sites moves around all the time, but it is worth checking. Go to www.google.co.uk and type in "hertford accountant". The site I made is imaginatively called www.hertfordaccount.co.uk". Is it still at number one?
If we had wanted, we could have also created 4 other websites, and grabbed the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th places.
The graph above shows how the website rose from below position 30 (i.e. nowhere) to number one in just one day.
The data table above shows how not only did the site reach number one, as a bonus, a second page on the site also entered Google at position 27.
